Prof. Said Gulyamov’s Lecture on Cyberlaw and Constitutional Law Draws Enthusiastic Engagement
On November 27, 2024, the Faculty of Law and Administration had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Said Gulyamov from the Tashkent State University of Law, Uzbekistan, for a lecture on the timely topic: “Balancing Cyberlaw and Constitutional Law: Navigating Rights, Regulation, and Digital Freedoms in the Information Age.” The event was attended by Polish law master’s students and exchange students from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, creating a vibrant and diverse academic environment.
Prof. Gulyamov, a distinguished expert in the intersection of technology, law, and ethics, delivered an insightful lecture that explored the challenges of balancing constitutional rights and regulatory frameworks in the digital era. The discussion highlighted critical issues such as privacy, cybersecurity, and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in legal systems.
The lecture was part of the University of Gdańsk Visiting Professors Program, for which Prof. Gulyamov was the winner of last year’s edition. His expertise and engaging style captivated the audience, sparking a lively Q&A session where students posed thoughtful and in-depth questions.
